Multicom's MultiCaster, previously known as the M-caster, messaging system is perfect for tour announcements, safety announcements, and marketing announcements for casinos, passenger vessels, or anywhere preprogrammed announcements and safety tones may be needed.
MultiCaster I
The MultiCaster I is a software-based message and announcement player. Messages are digitally recorded and stored on the MultiCaster system as mp3s or wav files. An unlimited number of messages can be stored and scheduled for playing sing a point and click interface for any hour, any day, any week or once a year.
MultiCaster messages may be recorded locally, through a network, or may be uploaded by modem from anywhere in the world. Control for MultiCaster is web based, so you may control the password protected system from any internet or intranet connected computer. MultiCaster may also be configured and controlled locally.
The MultiCaster may be used with any background or foreground music system, or may be integrated with Multicom’s MultiPlayer
(M-player) music system. At scheduled times, the music is lowered and a professional announcement is made exactly at the right time, or when manually triggered.

MultiCaster II 
The MultiCaster II system is a hardware based announcement system that utilizes the same digital messaging format as the more advanced MultiCaster I. It is limited to 12 messages as a stand-alone system or up to 24 messages when integrated with a Multicom Digital ICS System. Each message may be of varying length, and may be mounted and controlled remotely from anywhere on the vessel. Messages are manually triggered by switch closures.
The MultiCaster II has both line out and amplifier outputs. The system may be installed in an existing sound system, or you can use the 45 watt output to power speakers directly.
Digital messages are stored in non-volatile memory and may be updated at any time through the replacement of the memory card.
The MultiCaster II operates on 110 - 220 VAC or battery power and may be paired with any size sound system for crystal clear message or safety tone announcements over an existing sound system.
